The Secret Life Of Shame
I had the privilege of spending a week in silence with Gangaji this summer, and I can honestly say that for the first time in my life, everything stopped spinning and what was left was the the truth and the essence of who I really am.
While there are no words to explain this, it is my true invitation to you to STOP. Stop living in the past, stop telling yourself the stories that disempower you, stop living a life of shame!
Whether it is the shame of herpes or the shame of divorce or the shame of abuse….
We all have something that we can let go of!
As Gangaji so clearly explains in this interview, shame is only available when we reflect upon the past that doesn’t even really exist. In THIS moment, if you can just close your eyes and breathe, you will see that there is nothing to be shameful of. You are still as beautiful and brilliant as you ever were.
You see, you can choose to relate to herpes as “God is punishing you” or “you are a victim to herpes”
OR
You can choose to relate to herpes as if “God is giving you an opportunity to remember who you really are” or “life is always giving you exactly what you need to morph into a better you”.
Does the butterfly struggle before it releases from the cocoon?
Absolutely!
Remember that you are not separate from that which created you.
You are beautiful!
You are brilliant!
You are the light!
