I recently discovered Mel Robbins inadvertently looking for a podcast to teach me new ways of helping women overcome anxiety. Mel is a best-selling author and expert on leadership and defeating doubt, and is known for her Tedx Talk on the 5 Second Rule. For procrastinators, this rule can mean a complete change for your life, work, and everyday confidence. Simply put, if you have an impulse or desire to do something, you must physically move within 5 seconds to act on that goal.
I started listening to the podcast and found it extremely powerful. A week later now after having done my first 5 Second Rule, I am using it ALL the time. If you are struggling with taking action in your life, this could be an amazing life change. Why not use it as your New Year’s Resolution?
