Hi everyone, I’m Stephanie and I’m so glad to have found this forum. Thank you in advance for your reply.
I was diagnosed two years ago with HSV 2. I had an initial outbreak which started with symptoms of sacral pain, chills, muscle aches, shooting pain in my glute area and down my right leg. Months went by without anymore outbreaks.
This past week, I have had muscle aches, pain in my sacral and glute region and down my
Right leg. I have four lesions as of right now. One is on the gluteal fold area (I’ve never had one in this area) it’s more painful than the ones on my genitalia.
My question is, why is this outbreak so much more painful than my initial outbreak? Also, is it normal to have muscle aches three times four days after the lesions appear?August 25, 2020 at 5:47 am #42803DianeParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.August 26, 2020 at 6:44 am #42821theresaParticipant
Hello dearie, what you are going through is completely normal. There are people who also went through worse pains than you are going through because we all have different bodies so it is completely normal. I will advise you go back to you Dr or you use a completely different kind of medicine like I did which really worked for me. The everyday suppressant I was taking was having no effect at all that I had to seek treatment elsewhere and for some months now, I can happily tell you I have had no symptoms whatsoever. If you want to try the medication I used, you should contact the Dr through http://www.drsegunherbalhome.comOctober 14, 2020 at 11:50 pm #43107

Stephanie I’m hoping you share some of the feedback you have received. It’s been 7 years since being diagnosed and my third outbreak that I am currently experiencing is sooooo much worse than my initial one. I also feel like it has spread out from the “infected area”. I’m on valtrex tomorrow will be my third day on medication and I truly don’t see much relief. I am going to call my doctor in the morning but I’m hoping for some guidance and even words of encouragement as I’m feeling really shitty, unworthy, and disgusting right now.January 16, 2021 at 11:19 pm #43657nolaluzParticipant
I dont have the leg pains but i have heard that is norma. I constantly get outbreaks and what seems to help is taking certain vitamins daily. This has lessened the amount of outbreaks i get and the length of time. I use lysine, ginger root extract in water, vitamin C, echinacea pils or extract and zinc. I also take valtrex. Hope this helpsJanuary 25, 2021 at 10:14 pm #43715February 4, 2021 at 7:25 am #43776March 2, 2021 at 6:37 pm #43901March 11, 2021 at 6:38 pm #43950June 11, 2021 at 12:20 am #44395sandrapeople96ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.June 15, 2021 at 10:14 pm #44406boymomma129Participant
I am also new to this and really hoping to start feeling better about myself after connecting with people in the same boat. I was diagnosed 4 years ago and on a daily suppressive that worked perfectly no outbreaks what so ever. Now for whatever reason they are happening constantly and they feel worse too. I’ve been reading a lot about lysine but haven’t tried it. Not sure if it’s something to run by a doctor first. All anyone keeps telling me is stress can do this or illness. I sure hope you are feeling better.June 16, 2021 at 4:45 pm #44409ShaniceParticipant
I take 3 lysine tablets and zinc daily. I have seen Propolis Balm recommended to apply on painful areas
