I am staying at the magical 1440 Healing retreat center, receiving so many amazing insights from the redwood forest.

I went running in the woods on the first day I was here and I got “lost”.

A lovely couple offered me water and sent me back in the right direction. What I thought was a loop, was in fact a one way 3 mile hike through the redwoods.

As the light filtered through the trees, I took a deep breath and decided that I would enjoy the journey “home”.

I could have chosen to be frustrated, but instead I surrendered to the journey.
